With 25 years of working experience in mainland China and HK, both on the corporate side as well as in the consulting environment, Stella has developed rich experiences and deep expertise in Human Resources Management with a keen focus on talent and leadership development, organizational change and executive coaching.
During her nine years at Hewitt Associates, she was highly recognized by the market as the HR thought leader and often spoke at public events in China and Asia. The clients she has served include GE, Microsoft, Intel, IBM, Dell, Honeywell, Rockwell, P&G, Unilever, Wal-Mart, C&A, Disney, Westpac, American Express, MSD, Novo Nordisk, Novartis, Bissell, HighRock, Huawei, FoSun Group, Lenovo, China Telecom, Kingdee, etc.
While working as the Learning & Organization Development Director at MSD, Stella led her team to build the China MSD University and was the first country to launch the program in the world. She was a true partner in the business transformation during the merger of MSD and Schering Plough. She and her colleagues developed the “General Manager Development Series” to transform these leaders from product experts to general business leaders in the regions. She designed and facilitated a two day workshop to help the new General Manager integrate into his organization and together they created a business mission, vision and strategic focus for the next 1-3 years as a result. She also designed and facilitated team building workshops to enhance and bring live team and corporate cultures.
While working as the HR Director at C&A, Stella piloted the performance management calibration to cultivate a high performance culture (HPC), and designed rewards and recognition programs to differentiate the top performers. She also launched the “Ways of Working” and “Coach for High Performance” training programs to embed the HPC into the everyday life of C&A. She worked closely with the line managers to re-design organization functions and structures to meet the new business strategy with the talent they have.

Stella is certified by the ICF “Coach U & Corporate Coach U” program in HK, and has since then coached a number of senior executives in both multinational and private companies. She is also a certified team coach for “Action Reflection Learning”. She is certified of the following assessment tools: Hogan, MBTI, Facet5, LSI.
Stella is an active member in the local community, constantly looking for opportunities to offer her voluntary services. Every year, she will offer several days of pro bono coaching at CEIBS and FuDan University to MBA students. She also lectures at JiaoTong University, East China Normal University, Raffles Design Institute and IFA Paris. She served several terms on the HR committee of the European and American Chambers of Commerce as the chairperson during 2002-2006.
Stella is a graduate of the Shanghai International Studies University with a major in British and American literature, and earned her EMBA at the China Europe International Business School in 2001. She has a passion to share with organization and individuals who are seeking transformation in their careers and lives.
